After a long and tiring season, it’s that time of year when footballers take a break and let the WAGs have their share of the limelight.

And in the case of John Terry’s long-suffering wife Toni, she is determined to make the most of it.

The 29-year-old put on a display for the cameras in an ultra-revealing cutaway black swimsuit as she sunned herself on the beach in Abu Dhabi.

She also appeared in a tiny spotted bikini - and showed those photographers just how close she and Terry are these days.

She treated the £170,000-a-week Chelsea and England star to a passionate clinch, wrapping her legs round his waist as he hoisted her up with the surf lapping round them. 

After the trophy-less season Chelsea have just had, her breath-taking brace of beach wear must count as the nearest Terry’s been to a double in a long while.

The Terrys are, of course, no strangers to the art of public-relations-inspired canoodling. Last year there were scenes of saccharine sweetness beside a Dubai pool as the footballer  battled to save the marriage.

The cameras were treated to lengthy kisses and cuddles after the couple had flown there following Terry’s extra-marital fling. He lost a court battle to prevent details being published of his five-month affair  with Vanessa Perroncel, former girlfriend of his ex-Chelsea teammate Wayne Bridge.

Terry, 30, was stripped of the England captaincy by national coach Fabio Capello as a result, but has recently been reinstated.

Luckily for him, Toni, his childhood sweetheart, was obviously eventually appeased too, despite Terry having already consistently cheated on her during their 12 year relationship.

‘We know how we feel about each other and that’s the main thing,’ Terry said at the time. ‘Our relationship has never been knocked down. We’re just so in love.’ 

Toni has dated Terry from the age of 16, when he was a year older and an apprentice footballer on £48 a week still living with his family in an estate in Barking, East London.

She's famous for being one of the few female celebrities who has a figure normal women can strive to achieve.

And today Coleen Rooney decided to show off her curves in a tiny black two-piece which enjoying a family holiday in Barbados.

The 25-year-old star looked stunning in the bikini as she soaked up the sun on the Caribbean island.

Soaking up the sun: Coleen topped up her fan as she basked in the sunshine, but the weather proved too hot for husband Wayne

However, while Coleen has been enjoying the opportunity to spend time with husband Wayne during their time in Barbados, the Manchester United player was nowhere to be seen as Coleen topped up her tan.

But Coleen was quick to explain Wayne's absence from the day out, tweeting fans: 'On the beach, too hot for wayne ha! Would recommend sisley suncream range if ur looking to invest in a good one. Really nice. #hothothot.'

And it seems Coleen's sunbathing is paying off, as the Littlewoods designer is now sporting a deep golden tan thanks to her time in the sun.

Wayne hit the headlines earlier this week when he tweeted a picture of his new hair following a transplant procedure last week.

And, clearly keen to show off the results of the procedure, Wayne was seen yesterday displaying his thickened hairline by taking off his baseball cap, which he had been wearing for the majority of the day,

But with his pale skin perhaps Wayne should have been keeping the tender area on his head completely covered as after a day in the sunshine the footballer was displaying a T-shirt line tan, with bright pink arms and a red neck.

With Wayne free in between football seasons, the Rooneys and their son Kai have headed to their £5million holiday home on the island.

The family arrived in Barbados on Monday night after jetting over from Manchester airport.

Coleen was understandably apprehensive about boarding the nine-hour flight with their 18-month-old son Kai.

New hair: The day before,  Wayne removed his cap after a day in the sunshine in Barbados to reveal the effects of his hair transplant and displayed a nasty-looking scar on the right hand side of his head

Thin on top? As Rooney bowed his head to take off his cap his new hairline could be seen although he was still sporting sparse hair on his head following the cosmetic procedure

She tweeted on Monday: 'On our way to the airport!! Can't wait to get there but gonna be a fun flight with a active little boy.'

After a follower recommended a portable DVD player, Coleen admitted she already had one and he was watching it.

Once she arrived, she updated her followers: 'Here in sunny Barbados safe and sound!!! Just in the kids pool making friends haha x.'

Coleen visits Barbados several times a year, while Wayne only gets to fly to the Caribbean in between football seasons.

It's the first time they've returned to the island as a couple since Wayne was embroiled in scandal last September when he was reported to have slept with two prostitutes while Coleen was pregnant with Kai.

While the WAG has enjoyed a few vacations since the furore, they've only holidayed together once since, last October.

Wayne and Coleen left Kai in the care of her parents to enjoy a week long break at the seven star Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

Chantelle Houghton let her wild side out today as she stripped down to her lingerie and strolled around London adorned with tiger body paint.

But it was all in the name of a good cause, as she protested for animal organisation Peta.

The Celebrity Big Brother star held a sign that read ‘The Cruellest Show on Earth – Ban Wild Animal Circuses’

For a good cause: Chantelle Houghton stripped down to her lingerie and was adorned with tiger body paint for the protest

The 27-year-old stood in front of the Houses of Parliament to call on the government to ban the use of wild animals in circuses.

Her action comes in advance of tomorrow’s schedule debate in Parliament in response to the government’s failure to implement a ban last month.

‘The government’s failure to implement a ban flies in the face of overwhelming public opinion, the recommendations of the British Veterinary Association and the position of every major animal welfare group in the country.’

But Chantelle’s provocative body paint was grabbing more attention than her sight and she posed behind bars while impersonating a circus tiger.

She teamed up her costume with black peep toe heels, and in-between having her photograph taken kept warm under a white dressing gown.

Chantelle tweeted today: ‘Getting ready for my press call! Such a good cause! See u soon houses of parliament!’

And she is no stranger to wearing strange attire for a good cause, in March she wore a lettuce dress to promoted ‘Peta go vegetarian’.
Meanwhile, when the part time glamour model isn’t protesting for Peta, she has been dating Katie Price’s ex-husband Alex Reid.

The pair spent a couple of days together last week at the five-star spa The Grove in Herfordshire and spent most of their stay locked in their hotel room, according the New Magazine.
