Aronofsky's Ark

''Darren Aronofsky is looking for $130 million to make a Noah's Ark fantasy epic. Noah would be an "edgy re-telling" of the Bible story, according to Deadline. (Maybe he could team up with that Dutch guy who built himself an ark and shave a little off the budget?) This comes just a few months after Aronofsky dropped out of directing The Wolverine. The idea of serving a puzzling and sometimes frustrating master, the pursuit of a particular passion even when outsiders tell you you're crazy, feeling like the world you once knew is rejecting you — Aronofsky might not have marched them two-by-two before, but these themes are well within his wheelhouse.''
